Basic 2 Magnesium is a specially developed magnesium supplement based on high-purity magnesium chloride hexahydrate, for the easy and safe adjustment of the magnesium content in every saltwater aquarium.
Basic 2 Magnesium improves the healthy growth of corals and invertebrates.
Basic 2 Magnesium is highly purified and therefore free of any organic and inorganic contaminants.

BASIC stock solution (1 liter):
Pour 419 g in a measuring beaker and fill it with osmosis water to the 1 liter mark. 10 ml of this stock solution added to 100 litres of aquarium water increase the magnesium content by approx. 5 mg/L.
BASIC concentrate (1 liter):
Pour 500 g in a measuring beaker and fill it with osmosis water to the 1 liter mark. 17 ml of this stock solution added to 100 litres of aquarium water increase the magnesium content by approx. 10 mg/L.
Dosage of direct addition:
Add 8.5 g to 100 litres of water in your sump to increase the magnesium content by approx. 10 mg/L.
- The daily added amount depends on the consumption, therefore you should check the magnesium content regularly in your aquarium.
- In case of a direct dosage of Basic 2 Magnesium, add it near to the return pump in your sump.
- Use Basic 2 Magnesium together with our Basic system for an optimal care of your corals.
- Basic 2 Magnesium can be used for Balling method.
