Basic 3 Carbonate is a specially developed carbonate supplement based on high-purity sodium hydrogen carbonate, for the easy and safe adjustment of the carbonate hardness in every saltwater aquarium.
Basic 3 Carbonate improves the healthy growth of corals and invertebrates.
Basic 3 Carbonate is highly purified and therefore free of any organic and inorganic contaminants.

BASIC stock solution (1 liter):
Pour 85 g in a measuring beaker and fill it with osmosis water to the 1 liter mark. 35 ml of this stock solution added to 100 litres of aquarium water increase the alkalinity by approx. 1° dKH.
Dosage of direct addition:
Add 3 g to 100 litres of water in your sump to increase the alkalinity
- The daily added amount depends on the consumption, therefore you should check the carbonate hardness regularly in your aquarium.
- In case of a direct dosage of Basic 3 Carbonate, add it near to the return pump in your sump.
- Never dispense Basic 3 Carbonate and Basic 1 Calcium at the same time.
- Basic 3 Carbonate can be used for Balling method.
